BIO WINES

The production of organic wine is governed since 1991 by a European regulation which specifies the rules of production, processing, labeling and importation of organic products. From 1991 to July 2012, the regulation was limited to cultivation techniques applied in the vineyard and not on vinification. From August 2012, the European Regulation was extended to organic winemaking, enabling the sales of wines labeled "organic wine".
