Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Les Vignerons de Buzet
The history of the Buzet appellation illustrates the undeniable strength of wine cooperatives. Created in 1953, the cooperative Les Vignerons de Buzet offered a future to its eponymous wines with the obtaining of the A.O.C in 1973. Baron d'Ardeuil remains the most representative wine of the cooperative. Terroir: Covering 2000 hectares, the Buzet appellation benefits from unique climatic and geological conditions. The vineyards are planted on soils composed of clay, gravel, silt boulbènes and clay terrefort. Viticulture: The viticultural practices of the cooperative are part of a sustainable approach. All the plots have the Agri Confiance label, the vines are grassed and chemical fertilisers are banned. Vinification: Classic "Bordelaise" type vinification. Maceration for a fortnight at a temperature of around 25°C. Reasoned extraction during pumping over to extract only the best tannins.
