Well-rounded
The nose is straightforward, revealing notes of evolution, cocoa and mocha, with a hint of milk toffee.
The attack on the palate is supple and round, with a character marked by aromas of roasting, coffee and mocha.
The tannins are smooth and supple, with a good persistence of black fruits au gratin and a hint of wood, slightly smoky.
The finish is supple and round.

Features

Château Tourteran is the second wine of Ramage La Batisse. The estate covers 12 hectares, located in the neighbouring commune of Pauillac, Saint-Sauveur.

- Soils: sandy and gravelly.
- Density: 8,350 vines/hectare.
- Ageing: 12 months in oak barrels, of which 1/4 are new.
