Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

The wines and Bas-Armagnacs from Domaine Tariquet, owned by the Grassa family since 1912, are produced exclusively with grapes from the estate's own vineyards. The vines have been cultivated using sustainable methods for 30 years and have HVE and ISO 14001 environmental certifications.

Domain and appellation

  • Domaine Tariquet

Domaine Tariquet, located in Gascony in south-west France, is a family estate that has belonged to the Grassa family since 1912. As owner-grower. For almost thirty years, the Grassa family has been practising integrated vineyard management to protect the life of the soil and ensure optimum grape quality. Domaine Tariquet also fully assumes its social and environmental responsibility, from the vine to the marketing of its bottles of wine and Bas-Armagnac. As a result, it was assessed for the Engagé RSE (Corporate Social Responsibility) label in June 2021 and, from the very first audit, obtained the "Confirmed" classification, the 3rd best of the 4 existing levels.
