Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Garnet colour with some brick tints. The nose opens with peony, peppery notes and hints of liquorice. Good balance, frank, full-bodied and fleshy. Character with spices, black fruits, thyme, ripe tannins that soften. Good finish, greedy and frank.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Do you know ?
The name of the cuvée "1912 M" is a tribute to our giant of Provence which culminates at 1912 meters of altitude.

CHÂTEAU PESQUIÉ
Château Pesquié is a family estate, today the 3rd generation, Alexandre and Frédéric Chaudière, have taken over and continue to highlight the terroir and microclimate of the Ventoux. The vineyard is located at an average altitude of 300 metres, on the clay-limestone slopes of the Géant de Provence, whose microclimate is the coolest and latest in the southern Rhône Valley. It is a climate of contrasts: the nights are very cool (the fresh air coming down from the top of the mountain) and the days are very sunny.
