Powerful bouquet

The nose is open, still very woody, with vanilla, coconut, a hint of mocha and then blueberry coulis.

Good balance with a frank, straightforward, full-bodied wine.

Frank character that extends the aromas of the nose.

Clean, fairly supple finish.

Features

Body The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Domain and appellation

Château Tour Prignac
Château Tour Prignac is one of the largest vineyards in the Médoc. The estate underwent a major renovation after being purchased by the Castel family in 1973.
- Terroir: The estate spans 300 hectares, with over 147 hectares of vineyards, situated on clay-limestone soils and gravelly cuts.
- Winemaking: At the winery, the vinification is parcel-by-parcel. The aging lasts 12 months in oak barrels (80% new).
