Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

Pale colour with green highlights. Open nose of white flowers, white fruit and fresh apricots. Well-balanced on a fairly light, greedy, fresh body. Good sweetness, lovely fruit that extends the aromas of the nose, notes of fresh, crisp muscat grapes. Melt-in-the-mouth bubbles and a long, crisp and fresh finish. Good persistence.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

The vineyards are located in the Monferrato hills at an altitude of 450 metres in a temperate climate with variable daily temperatures and low annual rainfall. The grapes are grown entirely on well-drained slopes containing marine deposits. The region is temperate with a Mediterranean influence as it is only 40km from the sea.
