Our oenologists' opinion

Well-rounded

The nose reveals a red fruit coulis, complemented by notes of fresh spices such as pepper, and hints of undergrowth, evoking a ‘pinot’ character.

 

The attack is supple and well-balanced, with a marked roundness but a little frankness.

 

The aromas on the palate are peppery and spicy.

 

The finish is long and well-balanced, with a pleasant lingering finish.

    This Mercurey red ‘Les Champs Fleuris’ is made from parcels of Les Vaux, Les Chaumellottes and Clos Laurent.

     

    It is typical of the appellation and the terroir, with good concentration on the palate.
