Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
The nose is powerful, with aromas of green asparagus and mimosa, followed by notes of citrus fruits such as pomelo and orange blossom.
It also reveals a full-bodied, straightforward character, marked by aromas of fresh citrus fruit and iodised mineral touches.
Hints of vanilla and blond caramel add to its complexity.
The finish is long, clean and straightforward.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

CHÂTEAU LA LOUVIERE
The Château La Louvière boasts a magnificent architectural heritage dating from the late 18th century, as well as a winemaking history that spans over 700 years. The first vines were planted around 1310.
The expertise in viticulture dates back to the 17th century, passed down by the monks of the Grande Chartreuse de Bordeaux.
Today’s winemakers have inherited these ancient techniques and added a touch of innovation and modernity to enhance the character of this exceptional terroir.
