Domain and appellation

  • Domaine Laurent et Romain Prunier

    Since 1992, Laurent has represented the sixth generation of the Prunier family at the Domaine Prunier, winemaker in Auxey-Duresses.

     

    Located in the Côte de Beaune, their Pommard, Monthelie, Auxey-Duresses, and Saint-Romain, in village or premier cru appellations, evoke the essence of Burgundy at family meals.

     

    A rigorous manual approach and strict selection of the production ensure the wines’ quality. Ageing lasts 12 to 16 months in oak barrels, with 20% new oak, the rest being recent barrels.

     

    Vosges oak enhances the red wines, while Allier oak adds complexity to the whites. The average age of the vines is 40 years.

     

    Thanks to this expertise, the estate is regularly awarded at various competitions.
