Fruity and crisp

Straw-coloured. Clean, woody nose with hints of fresh asparagus, opening onto minerality, white flowers and citrus fruit. Lively attack, tension and body. Lovely citrus character, buttery notes. Good length. Clean finish with good persistence.

  • DOMAINE JEAN COLLET

    The Collet family is established in Chablis and has been devoted to the vine since 1792, the birth of the first republic. From generation to generation, the men and women in this line have passed on to their descendants their love of the land, their passion for their profession and their concern for a job well done. Towards the middle of the 20th century, the Chablis vineyards experienced an unprecedented boom. Jean founded the Domaine Collet and was one of the pioneers of export sales, as it was in 1959 that he boarded his first plane to sell his wine in the United States. From Jean Collet and Jeannine Costal to Gilles, their son, and then from Gilles to Romain, tradition and modernity coexist in the quest for unique expertise. On the strength of this heritage, Domaine Collet has grown with a concern for respecting the soil, the mirror of the Chablis typicity, and has turned to sustainable agriculture, which Romain has legitimised by certifying a large part of the estate as organic.
