Delord
Prosper Delord founded Delord in 1893. Today, Jérôme and Sylvain, his great-grandsons, carry on the family tradition under the protective eye of their father, Jacques.
Our 45-hectare vineyard, dedicated exclusively to making Armagnac, is planted with four traditional grape varieties: Ugni-blanc, Colombard, Baco and Folle-blanche. It is located in the commune of Lannepax, in the Bas-Armagnac region of south-western France.
Our wines are distilled in stills fitted with the ‘spider's foot’ continuous toasting system typical of Armagnac, ideal for making old Armagnacs.
Our cellars contain more than 1,000 casks and a dozen French oak tuns.
The oldest vintages are kept in casks, protected from the light, in a room called Le Paradis.
