Powerful bouquet
This Armagnac Hors d’Age has a great range of aromas. It releases fragrances of vanilla, candied yellow fruits and prune as well as wooden notes. In the mouth, its length is unveiling its sweet side and a taste of caramel. This Armagnac is totally typical of the Maison DELORD.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Armagnac "Hors d'Age" is a blend of very old Armagnacs which is aged at least 10 years in barrels.

Delord
Prosper Delord founded Delord in 1893. Today, Jérôme and Sylvain, his great-grandsons, carry on the family tradition under the protective eye of their father, Jacques.
Our 45-hectare vineyard, dedicated exclusively to making Armagnac, is planted with four traditional grape varieties: Ugni-blanc, Colombard, Baco and Folle-blanche. It is located in the commune of Lannepax, in the Bas-Armagnac region of south-western France.
Our wines are distilled in stills fitted with the ‘spider's foot’ continuous toasting system typical of Armagnac, ideal for making old Armagnacs.
Our cellars contain more than 1,000 casks and a dozen French oak tuns.
The oldest vintages are kept in casks, protected from the light, in a room called Le Paradis.
