Armagnac Delord

It was in 1893 that Prosper Delord founded the Delord company. Today, Jérôme and Sylvain, his great grandsons, continue the family tradition under the protective eye of their father, Jacques. Our 45 hectare vineyard, dedicated exclusively to the production of Armagnac, is made up of the four traditional grape varieties: Ugni-blanc, Colombard, Baco and Folle-blanche. It is located in the commune of Lannepax, in the Bas-Armagnac region of south-west France. Our wines are distilled in stills equipped with "spider-leg" trays with continuous heating, typical of Armagnac, ideal for the production of old Armagnacs. Our cellars have more than 1000 barrels and a dozen French oak casks. The colour and complexity of our Armagnacs are obtained by a long ageing process under wood. The oldest vintages are kept in casks, protected from the light, in a room called the Paradise.
