Our oenologists' opinion

Powerful bouquet

Dark garnet colour with a brick sheen, dense. The nose is quite open with notes of morello cherry, dark chocolate and raspberry, with a hint of cocoa. Round and greedy attack, satiny, fat and long tannins, nice character, red fruits au gratin, and notes of undergrowth. The finish is ample, full-bodied and fine, with nice notes of roasted wood, good length and a touch of acidity.

Features

In 1994, CHANEL took over the fate of this property, keen to reveal the excellence of its terroirs. Ségla is born on satellite plots revolving around the heart of the historic vineyard, a blend which will make up its own balance and character.
