You probably know the Douro, the river that runs through Portugal into the Atlantic at Porto. However in the last ten years, wine production in Portugal exceeded that of the famous Porto. The vineyard is particularly rich. From the north to the far south, there are no fewer than thirteen regions of controlled labels.
