Features

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

More than a century ago, Cantine Medici Ermete was born in the land of Lambrusco. The Medici family has always been dedicated to the enhancement of this wine, succeeding over the decades in building and cultivating a heritage of experience jealously guarded and constantly enriched. This is the only way to pass on the love and respect for wine from generation to generation. Cantine Medici Ermete is located in Gaida, along the Via Emilia, a short distance from the vineyards it owns. These vineyards are dislocated in the Lambrusco Reggiano D.O.C. production zone, on prevalently gravelly soils well-suited to the cultivation of selected grapes. Cantine Medici's aim is to improve quality through ever more careful selection of land, grapes and wines, in keeping with the age-old Italian winemaking tradition.
