Our oenologists' opinion
Powerful bouquet
Pale yellow colour with bright yellow highlights. The nose is open, frank, acidulous, woody, with hints of vanilla and butter, followed by notes of citrus fruit and jasmine. Supple, full, vanilla-flavoured attack, enveloping, taut, medium body. Powerful, full, sweet finish, medium persistence on notes of vanilla and white flowers.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

MAISON CHAMPY
Established since the Middle Ages in the north of the Côte de Beaune, this very hilly vineyard covers the hillsides of Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-lès-Beaune. It is the diversity of its soils and exposure that gives each of its crus its own distinct identity. White wines are produced from 53 hectares, including 7 Premiers Crus covering 17.60 hectares: Sous Frétille, En caradeux, Clos Berthet, Clos du Village, Les Quartiers, La Morand, and Village de Pernand.
