The nose is frank and expressive, with aromas of raspberry and blackcurrant coulis, combined with hints of garrigue and herbs.
The attack is supple, round and well-balanced. The character is frank and distinctive, with a long, fleshy, fruity finish.
The finish is pleasantly lingering, with aromatic notes, intensity and relief.
This wine is characterised by its freshness and aromatic complexity, with a fine balance between red fruit and wild herbs.

Features

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

DOMAINE DES PRÉS LASSES
1999 marked the first vintage of Les Prés Lasses, a domain founded by two friends with a passion for wine. Denis Feigel, after a career in winemaking and wine distribution, fulfilled his dream by creating his own vintage. Since 2005, his son Boris has taken over the technical management of the estate.
Today, the estate spans 36 hectares, of which 30 hectares are in production, featuring many old vines. The vineyard is cultivated using organic farming methods, with a focus on maintaining the vitality of the soil and the balance of the vines, ensuring sustainability and enhancing the character of the wines.
The Faugères vineyard stretches across the rugged terrain of the last foothills of the Cévennes, north of Béziers.
