Fruity and crisp

The nose is open, offering aromas of candied cherry, pomegranate and exotic fruit, with notable complexity.

 

On the palate, the attack is supple and crisp, with tension and finesse, well-balanced despite a small body.

 

The finish is sapid and crisp, highlighting the fruit, with a touch of acidity.

 

The wine has lovely character and remarkable purity.

    This village, the largest in the Côte Chalonnaise, is also the most renowned in this wine region.

     

    It is located about ten kilometers south of the Côte de Beaune.

     

    A village with varied topography and exposures, it extends over Mercurey and Saint-Martin-sous-Montaigu; a hamlet that also has some climats classified as 1er Crus.
