Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is straightforward, reminiscent of black fruit coulis, with hints of vanilla and mocha.

The attack is supple, marked by a well-balanced roundness.

The finish is clean and fruity, with a strong aromatic and spicy character and notes of candied black fruit.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Domain and appellation

    Situated in the terroir of Aspres, in Thuir, near Perpignan, Château Lauriga was the latest acquisition in 2016 by Jean-Claude Mas. Half of the vineyards are in the AOP Côtes du Roussillon.
