Domain and appellation

  • BERTICOT

    In the heart of the South-West, Berticot offers wines that are representative of its terroir. Today, the cooperative cellar represents 1000 ha of vineyards in AOP Côtes de Duras and IGP Atlantique, with 150 ha certified organic.

     

    But above all, Berticot has always been about people: it was founded in 1965 in Duras by winegrowers who wanted to come together to support each other.

     

    It was in 2008, under the initiative of three winemakers, that the organic journey began at Berticot. This responsible approach has been passed down through the years to other winegrowers affiliated with the cooperative and is now embedded in a broader environmental dynamic.
