Features

Body The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

"Terroir Mâconnais" is an ode to the Mâconnais region. In Roman times, Mâcon's strategic position on the banks of the Saône made it an important citadel. The cultivation of vines also dates back to that time.

Domain and appellation

Terroir Mâconnais

The vines are located on the gentle hills of Mâconnais.

A parcel selection of vines on siliceous clay or clayey soils produces rich and rustic wines, while siliceous or granitic soils further south in the vineyard yield fruitier and lighter wines.

Vinification & ageing: Destemming, Burgundy-style vinification with a maceration period of approximately 10 days.
