Powerful bouquet

Dark garnet colour with brick tints. On the nose, notes of black fruit, leather, dark chocolate and toasted wood, with a hint of reduction. Supple attack, with well-crafted tannins, tension and finesse. Good balance. Clean, closed finish. Age well.

Caractéristiques

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Le saviez-vous ?

The windmill, surrounded by vines, dates from the 15th century and is a listed historic monument. It represents the prestige and pride of the appellation (640 hectares).

    Vines resting on granite rock. VINIFICATION & BREEDING: Hand-picked. Grapes partially destemmed. Maceration for about 15 - 20 days, partly in toasted vats (submerged cap). Aged mainly in vats and wood (10%).
