Powerful bouquet

Black colour with purple highlights. Frank nose, with candied black fruits, tobacco, cumin and spices. Fleshy attack, full, enveloping. Frank length, nice character with aromas of black pepper, mocha and tobacco. Hints of roasted black fruits. Good persistence on round and silky tannins.

Features

Domain and appellation

  • CLOS TRIGUEDINA

    In the year 96 of our era, the Emperor Domitian had the vines uprooted in favour of wheat. It was in the 3rd century that the Emperor Probus had the vine replanted in the Quercy. It was to pay tribute to him that Jean, the father of Jean-Luc Baldès, created this top-of-the-range Cahors appellation wine in 1976.
