Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

Pale pink colour with hints of pale peach, clear and brilliant. Open nose with notes of citrus fruit, red berries and a hint of fresh liquorice. Supple, full attack, well-balanced and fleshy. The finish is fairly short, with redcurrant syrup and a hint of pomelo.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

    Château la Gordonne is one of the largest estates in Provence, with 320 hectares of vines planted in an exceptional schist cirque facing the sea. The vineyards of Château la Gordonne benefit from a special microclimate. AOC Côtes de Provence. Remarkable terroir of Pierrefeu in the heart of the golden triangle of Puget-Ville, Pierrefeu-du-var and Cuers. Today, the entire vineyard of Château La Gordonne is certified organic.
