Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
This wine has an open, heady bouquet, combining aromas of vanilla, curry, menthol, dried apricot and a hint of leather.
The full-bodied, greedy attack reveals notes of candied yellow fruit, honey and sweet spices.
The finish is also full-bodied and tasty, with flavours of quince and beeswax.
It has a lovely, youthful character, promising great potential for development.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Château de Cérons
Listed as a historical monument in 2008, this wine-producing Chartreuse, built in the early 18th century, is located in the heart of the village of Cérons, in the Graves region.
Acquired in 1958 by the Perromat family, the estate produces a sweet wine under the AOC Cérons as well as dry red and white wines under the Graves controlled appellation.
- Terroir: This 26-hectare vineyard sits on a remarkable terroir with two distinct features: an asteriated limestone subsoil covered with alluvial gravel and a microclimate that fosters the development of Botrytis Cinerea.
- Viticulture: The estate follows sustainable farming practices to preserve the vineyards. The grapes are hand-harvested.
- Vinification: A very slow pressing is used for the botrytized grapes. The wine is aged in barrels for 18 months. This sweet wine is lighter in sugar than its neighboring Sauternes and Barsac counterparts.
