Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
The nose is frank and open, with typical aromas of citrus zest, grapefruit and passion fruit, complemented by mineral and iodine notes.
The balance is very good, with a full-bodied, frank character and fine finesse.
There are hints of minerality, oyster shell and green asparagus.
The wine is markedly fresh, with a clean, taut and promising finish.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

CHÂTEAU COUHINS BLANC
Château Couhins is a Grand Cru Classé from Graves, located at the heart of the prestigious Pessac-Léognan appellation.
Thanks to the INRAE, the owner of this beautiful estate, the château has implemented research programs and innovative techniques to meet a dual and ambitious goal: the quality of the wines produced by Château Couhins and the preservation of the environment.
To achieve this, the estate decided to convert to organic farming and to develop agroecology and agroforestry to restore balance and a virtuous cycle within its vineyard.
