Domain and appellation

  • Founded in 1923, the La Chablisienne cooperative today covers 25% of the Chablis vineyard with over 300 winegrowers.

     

     

    Terroir: Spanning 1175 hectares, La Chablisienne vineyards rest on Kimmeridgian soils with alternating marl and marl limestone, with deposits of small oysters. The parcels are generally exposed to the southeast, south, and southwest, creating a mosaic of different climates.

     

     

    Viticulture: The cooperative uniquely harvests the grapes as musts to immediately assess the quality of the various parcels.
