Fruity and well-rounded

Ruby colour with garnet highlights. Open nose of cherry syrup, jammy black fruit, then fresh notes of pepper and boxwood. Good balance on a straightforward wine with a nice character. The tannins are ripe and melted. A nice, frank and rather greedy length.

Features

Domain and appellation

  • CHÂTEAU DE LA ROULERIE

    Château de la Roulerie is located in the heart of the Anjou vineyards, in the commune of Saint-Aubin-de-Luigné. Philippe and Marie Germain have been running this 19th-century estate since 2004. They have been cultivating their 40 hectares under the AB label since 2015.

    Terroir: The vines are 25 years old and each hectare has 4,500 vines. The grapes are harvested by hand. Farming is organic.
