Founded in 1923, the Chablisienne cooperative now covers 25% of the Chablis vineyards, with over 300 winegrowers. Terroir: Spread over 1175 hectares, the Chablisienne vineyards are planted on Kimmeridgian soils with alternating marl and marly limestone with deposits of small oysters. The plots are generally south-east, south and south-west facing, with a mosaic of different climates.
