Powerful bouquet

Caramel colour, orange tint, cognac type, clear and brilliant. Open nose with notes of prunes, figs and nuts. Sweet attack with notes of white chocolate, nuts and nutmeg, and a hint of leather. Spicy and fleshy finish, on prunes, hazelnuts and walnuts, good alcohol/sugar balance.

Features

    • Terroir: Spread across 40000 hectares, the vineyards lay on both banks of the Douro river which crosses the country east to west up to the city of Porto. Located on hillsides, the vineyards lay on granitic soils.
