Our oenologists' opinion
Powerful bouquet
Bright, coppery colour with hints of old gold. Open and typical nose, powerful with orange zest, gentian, fresh notes of fennel, star anise, clove, hint of cinchona, nutmeg. Well-balanced, full-bodied and well rounded. Nice character that extends the notes of bitter orange and gentian. Nice finish on a sapid bitterness, long and greedy.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

MAISON NOILLY PRAT
For more than two centuries, the House of Noilly Prat has been perpetuating a unique know-how to produce the oldest and most renowned of French vermouths. In order to offer its beautiful dark red colour with mahogany hues, the cellar master blends plants slightly different from the original version into the white wines. Saffron from Greece, lavender from France, cloves from Madagascar and cocoa beans from Venezuela are all used in this blend. These ingredients create a vermouth with complex, spicy aromas that evolve into herbaceous notes.
