Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Deep old gold colour. Open, expressive nose, with notes of candied orange, dried apricot and cereal, a hint of white chocolate. Round, greedy attack, with candied yellow fruit, chilli and white pepper. Beautiful envelope, beautiful sweetness, the alcohol is well melted. The finish is ample, generous, greedy, with a nice persistence on hay, young leather and spices.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

COPPER DOG
Copper Dog Blended Malt is a Scotch whisky steeped in history. Blended from malts from 8 Speyside distilleries, Copper Dog is not a Blended Malt like any other. A bit of history. In the past, distillery workers used to steal a little whisky with copper test tubes closed with a coin on one side and a cork on the other. They hid these test tubes called Copper Dog in their trouser leg. These scoundrels were the inspiration for this unique blend of eight single malt whiskies aged in oak casks. Copper Dog Blended Malt is an authentic whisky with ripe fruit flavours and a hint of spice. Under the guidance of Diageo's master distiller and blender Stuart Morrison, Copper Dog is a playful and accessible Blended Malt that can be enjoyed neat, on the rock, or in cocktails. Ideal for a daily dram without the fuss.
