Powerful bouquet

Non-filtered, this yellow whiskey is marked by fragrances of white chocolate and white fruits that evolve into scents of dried fruits and mango. In the mouth, its good balance, its envelope and its roundness are astounding. Deserving the praises, it demonstrates a nice elegance and freshness, showing its temper with peaty notes.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Do you know ?

Isle of Arran means “island of sharp mountain peaks” in Gaelic. Allying modernity and tradition, it is respectful of the environment. Its emblem refers to the extreme purity of the site and depicts two eagles flying over the distillery.

Domain and appellation

  • ARRAN

    The flagship of the Arran distillery, launched in 2006, the reputation of the 10 Year Old is well established. The result of a blend of bourbon casks and first-fill sherry hogsheads, this single malt perfectly expresses the floral, spicy and fruity character typical of the distillery. Un-chill-filtered and without colouring, it is a tasting single malt, very elegant.
