Powerful bouquet

Its golden colour brings out a nice fresh and fruity aroma, with plum, almond and vanilla. In the mouth, this eau-de-vie is balanced, straightforward, fairly full-bodied and well signed with a nice fondue and tasty length.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Do you know ?

The origins of the eau-de-vie date back to the Middle Ages. At that time, the alchemists were trying to create an elixir of immortality. Made by distilling alembic fruit or wine, the elixir of life obviously did not have the desired effect. However, it was long attributed for medical properties.

Domain and appellation

    At the heart of Gascony, on the Lectoure plateau, the Domaine d'Arton extends over 50 hectares. The Domaine produces various quality wines and a rare eau-de-vie with the Haut Armagnac appellation control.


        Production: This old plum brandy, made according to the ancestral tradition of our region, is slowly distilled in a continuous fire and aged in oak barrels. The wood will then give this eau-de-vie all the character and nobility of our terroir.
        Each bottle is individually offered in wooden cases.
