Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

The Ouzo Tirnavou has been rewarded many times in national and international competitions over more than 100 years. Ouzo is generally enjoyed on ice, sometimes slightly diluted, as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to seafood and fish.

Distilled twice from grapes in an old-fashioned copper boiler-type still, the ouzo Tirnavou draws all its complexity from aniseed and 14 other herbs and spices, such as fennel, cinnamon and nutmeg. The various ingredients are of course all freshly harvested before distillation to preserve all their flavours. The ouzo is then left to rest for two months in stainless steel vats to give it more homogeneity. The Ouzo Tirnavou has been rewarded many times in national and international competitions over more than 100 years.
