Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Yellow colour with golden highlights. The nose is open and delicious, with notes of candied plum, salted butter toffee, apricot jam and honey, as well as a hint of iodine and minerality. On the palate, the wine is round and delicious, with candied yellow fruit, a well-balanced finish and a slight sweetness. The finish is elegant, with hints of cherry, minerality and cereals, as well as notes of white flowers and sea spray, a hint of smoke, great finesse and a sapid sensation.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Goalong
Chinese Single Malts have officially earned their place and are about to experience an explosion in demand. With an aromatic profile unique to the Hunan region, Goalong is truly one of a kind and stands out as a high-quality single malt whiskey capable of competing with the best whiskies. This whiskey with its golden hue has been aged for 5 years in ex-bourbon & brandy casks. Each cask is aged at the distillery in the Hunan region of south-central China. Thanks to the wide variations in temperature in this part of China, the exchange between the whiskey and the wood in the casks is favoured, which speeds up the ageing process and brings out complex notes from the very first years of maturation.
