Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Deep turquoise colour with electric blue highlights. The nose is open and frank, with notes of orange, tangerine and bitter orange, with a hint of orange blossom. The attack is syrupy and beautifully sweet, with a hint of sweet orange, and the alcohol is well blended. The finish is fairly balanced between alcohol and sugar, the orange is more intense, with a hint of blood orange and medium persistence of bitter orange zest.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

The small Curaçao oranges, with their highly aromatic peel, are dezested and distilled in 170-year-old stills. Aged in glass casks for several months, they are then given a judicious dose of sugar and a blue colouring agent to liven up your cocktails. The aromatic note is characterised by its bitterness and the elegance of the aromas of this very special orange.
