Powerful bouquet
Luminous old gold colour. Open nose of peaches in syrup, yellow fruit, notes of beeswax, smoked wood. Well-balanced, well-structured, alcohol present, hint of sweetness, straightforward. Open character of candied fruit, peach jam, hint of light tobacco. Taut finish with notes of dried fruit and candied fruit.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Château de Laubade
Founded in 1870, Château de Laubade is an estate of around 100 hectares located in the heart of Bas Armagnac. Today, the estate belongs to the Lesgourgues family, since 1974. Château de Laubade has been classified as a World Class Distillery since 2010 and has been elected House of Spirits of the Year in 2021 by the Revue des Vins de France. Its armagnacs are appreciated for their aromatic richness and finesse.
