Domain and appellation

BALVENIE

Caribbean Cask is a 14 year old single malt with subtle spicy flavours, the fruit of the meeting between the brand's characteristic sweetness and the warmth of Caribbean rum. Caribbean or Caraïbes in French refers of course to the rum of this region. It is a double maturation during which the brandy first spent a minimum of 14 years in American oak barrels, ex bourbon barrel, and then spent its last 6 months in barrels that contained rum for 6 months.
