DISTILLERIE AUCHROISK

Auchroisk is one of the youngest distilleries in Scotland, created in 1974. Its whisky was marketed between 1986 and 1999 under the name of Singleton, because Auchroisk was considered too difficult to pronounce (Auch Roysk or Ach Rask, the "ch" being pronounced as a "th"). Since 2000, it has been producing more and more single malts for independent bottlers, although 90% of its production remains dedicated to blends, including J&B. Auchroisk 10 year old, from Speyside, is ideal for the aperitif. Light, it opens with sweet, fresh and balanced notes, and dries to a short finish.
