Attack with fine, elegant, creamy bubbles, notes of buttercream and vanilla, a hint of soy, sapid, pleasant.

Features

Domain and appellation

    The name "Grand Siècle" refers to one of the most prosperous periods in French history, the 17th century, a time when human ingenuity transcended nature’s limits. Under the reign of Louis XIV, the Sun King, the completion of the Palace of Versailles and its gardens embodied a vision of harmony, balance, and perfection.

     

    The French formal gardens, with their flawless symmetry and perspectives, the cultivation of Mediterranean species such as orange trees in the Orangery of Château de Louvois (Domaine Champagne Laurent-Perrier), and the creation of the Grand Canal, fountains, and pools despite the absence of nearby water sources, all illustrate humanity’s ability to elevate nature’s gifts.

     

    Inspired by this shared vision of achieving a perfection that nature alone cannot create, the House of Laurent-Perrier named its Prestige Cuvée "Grand Siècle."
