Fruity and well-rounded

Garnet colour with ruby highlights. Frank nose, with notes of kirsch and black pepper. Opens with woody aromas, fresh spices and red fruits. Supple attack of the envelope, of the balance. Frank and greedy length. Frank and typical character. Finishes with aromas of mocha.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

    The wines produced by the domaine are elegant and have the characteristic expression of their New Zealand vines. Marlborough is situated on the north-eastern coast of the island in the south of New Zealand. C'est la région la plus ensoleillée de Nouvelle-Zélande, avec près de 2500 heures de soleil par an. Marlborough has a maritime climate with long cold spells, cold nights and heavy precipitation.
