Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

The CASTELLO DELLA SALA estate is located in Umbria, near the border with Tuscany, just a few kilometres from the historic town of Orvieto.
The estate’s lands, home to an imposing medieval manor built in 1350, cover 500 hectares, of which 170 hectares are vineyards, situated at an altitude of 220 to 470 metres above sea level.
It enjoys a microclimate characterised by cold winters, not too harsh, and very hot summers, where the morning mist plays a role in the maturation of the grapes.
This terroir is particularly well-suited for the production of exceptional white wines.
