Fruity and crisp

A rose gold colour with silver highlights. Fresh red fruit on the nose, with hints of citrus and pomelo. A hint of reduction. Supple attack, tension, freshness, long, clean acidity, balance, hint of iodine. Good persistence on citrus fruit.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Succumbing to the temptation of bunches of grapes from the Saint Mont appellation, the slightly roguish devil disguised himself as a winegrower. Wearing a beret and clogs, he slipped into the vineyard and stole the best grapes.

    Forty hectares are cultivated on sandy-clay and clay-loam soils. The plots are selected on the basis of their north-west exposure, which is diabolically favourable for enhancing the aromatic expression of the red grapes, which are then used to make rosé.
