Our oenologists' opinion

Powerful bouquet

Deep garnet-red colour. Opening nose of black fruits au gratin, Agen prunes, spicy notes of thyme and laurel sauce. Good balance, straightforward, full-bodied, small body, lovely character with notes of cocoa, dry garrigue spices, ripe, supple, mellow tannins. Long, spicy finish.

Features

Château Val Joanis is a historic estate in the southern Rhône whose origins date back to Roman times. This unspoilt setting of almost 400 hectares cultivates 110 hectares of vines with the greatest respect for the soil and biodiversity. Certified High Environmental Value since 2019, we attach great importance to the selection of terroirs to achieve the perfect balance in our wines. Fruity, generous and elegant, these are the qualities they express.
