Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is open and spicy, with notes of cumin, white peach and white pepper.

On the palate, a round, greedy attack, with well-balanced flavours of pear, apricot and hawthorn, with a hint of vanilla.

The finish is greedy and spicy, with notes of blond tobacco and green tea, and medium persistence.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation

    Climate: Mediterranean, with high temperatures, exceptional sunny days, and cool nights.

     

    Viticulture: Limited yields, manual vineyard management, rigorous selection, and minimal interference in the grape maturation process.

     

    Vinification: Grape destemming, direct pressing. Traditional vinification at controlled temperature. Aged in concrete tanks for 9 months. Each cuvée number corresponds to a new vintage. Number 300 will be the vintage for the 300th anniversary of B&G.
