Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is frank and expressive, with aromas of grilled pepper, black fruit jam and hints of vanilla, evolving towards hints of mocha and dark chocolate.

 

The attack on the palate is supple and greedy, underpinned by round, silky tannins, offering fine balance and intense black fruit flavours.

 

The finish is supple and harmonious, with notes of fresh spices and a pleasant lingering finish.

Features

    Créés en 1930 par le Baron Philippe de Rothschild, les vins Mouton Cadet reflètent la diversité et la richesse du terroir bordelais à travers un vin accessible à tous.

     

    • Terroir : Les récoltes proviennent de partenariats établis avec des viticulteurs de l’appellation Pauillac. Située sur la rive gauche de l’estuaire de la Gironde, cette appellation a la particularité d’héberger trois châteaux faisant partie de la prestigieuse classification de 1855.

     

     

    • Viticulture : Ces partenariats de longue date permettent une sélection parcellaire haut de gamme. Les viticulteurs sont liés aux exigences de la maison Mouton Cadet par le cahier des charges.

     

    • Vinification : Alliant modernité et technicité, l’assemblage des différents cépages phares de la région bordelaise se veut précis et vise à maintenir la note typique de cassis. L’incorporation d’une station de traitement des eaux utilisant des roseaux permet à Mouton Cadet d’étendre ses pratiques dites éco-responsables.
