Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
The open, frank nose reveals notes of grenadine, redcurrant and citrus, in a fresh, fruity register.
The attack is supple and straightforward, carried by crisp, acidic notes, with a lovely sapidity that brings energy and balance.
The clean finish, in keeping with the palate, is pleasantly lingering, elegant and refreshing. A rosé with finesse and precision.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Domain and appellation

GÉRARD BERTRAND
The vines are mainly located in the Tautavel region, in the vineyards of Southern France, ideally positioned in Roussillon, between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean.
Grenache is the king grape variety for crafting characterful rosés. It fully expresses itself thanks to the exceptional climate: low rainfall and optimal sunshine.
At full ripeness, it reveals all its light and fruity aromas, in a modern style. It is truly a great grape variety of the South of France.
