Fruity and crisp

This wine has a seductive nose of black cherries and wild strawberries, with a hint of ginger.

 

The wine is well-balanced, fairly full-bodied, frank and lively.

 

The character is based on red berries with a touch of fresh spices and peppery notes.

 

The ripe tannins add structure and promise to mellow over time.

 

The finish is long and lingering.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Some of the grapes are picked by hand and put into vats after destemming. Cooled during vatting, the grapes are kept in a pre-fermentative state. Some of the aromas and colour set in during this period.

  • LES VIGNERONS DE MANCEY

    Located at the northernmost part of the Mâconnais, the 140 hectares cultivated by the 80 winemakers of the Vignerons de Mancey are spread across 8 communes around Mancey. This geographical and geological position gives us a distinct identity and marked typicity.

     

    Since 1929, we have been vinifying the typical grape varieties of Burgundy, carrying out a significant selection work of the best terroirs, aiming to highlight their unique identity.

     

    The vineyards are situated on the slopes of Mancey, Vers, Royer, and Martailly-Lès-Brancion.
